Rural fibre connectivity via towers (and LEO backhaul): making the economics work in Sub-Saharan Africa
Rural broadband in Sub-Saharan Africa fails not for lack of technology options, but because the unit economics rarely survive low density and weak purchasing power. The underused answer is towers as distribution nodes — combining fibre-to-tower, LEO backhaul, and demand stacking to make the economics work.
